How We Can Help

Site-Specific Training Module Development

Our company focuses on the development of site-specific training modules that move learners from knowing what a process is (as you might see in a generic multimedia presentation) to how that process is implemented in your mill, including your site’s equipment, flows, and control instrumentation.

Our consultants have deep experience with most industrial systems found in integrated mills: paper machines, pulping equipment, and power boiler, turbine-generator, and liquor recovery equipment.  This means that we require very little time from your mill personnel for research and development until the review of module drafts.

SOP Facilitation

We can also assist with the development of SOPs.  We have worked extensively with mill personnel to facilitate the development of detailed SOPs.

  • We know what questions to ask to ensure that all and only the steps necessary to achieve a task have been covered sufficiently.
  • We can adjust SOP coverage to suit experienced operators for use as reference job aids or new hires for use as a training aid in learning new tasks.
  • We also can work with your team to identify which job position tasks require the development of new SOPs if your procedure bank is insufficient.

Job Position Curriculum Development & LMS Setup

If your mill has made significant job position changes or system process changes since your training program was developed, or if you have had the benefit of a long period with highly qualified operators that has allowed the focus on training to slip, we can help with developing or updating your job position profiles and curricula.  We can also help with populating your learning management system (LMS) with training curricula and materials.

Additional Support: Troubleshooting Guides, Technical Graphic Development

To ensure the quality of our work, we keep our service offerings tight and only promise what we can deliver. However, we are experienced material developers that developed or provided support for many material types.

  • We know the questions to ask to flesh out troubleshooting guides and SOP information from operators
  • We have developed numerous multimedia types, including 3D modeling and animation, 2D graphic development, that can often show concepts better than explaining with text.

We are a capable force that may be able to help in unconventional ways.
